Seasonal Rides to Cassoday
Cassoday Kansas is located in the Flint Hills, 150 miles south of Kansas City just off of I 35. According to the City web page the population of Cassoday is 95. This very small Cow Town hosts the largest motorcycle gathering in the Mid-West. From March through October Motorcyclist from all over the Mid-West converge on Cassoday on the first Sunday of each month. Thousands of motorcycles line the streets. Vendors come from miles away to hack their wares. With everything from T shirts, jewelry, leathers and alterations to camping trailers for sale. A dyno makes the trip from Topeka to be one of the most popular spots. No matter what your motorcycle fancy is, you’ll see it at Cassoday.
The Flint Hills of Kansas make for some” Good Riding”. We have ridden hwy 177 and also taken the long way home Hwy 77 north to Hwy 56 east through Council Grove to Hwy 4 north up and through Topeka. John and I have ridden just about every Highway in the Flint Hills, all are filled with curves and hilly regions. A very enjoyable ride.
